AI Programmer

After Hours: Library is a horror game where the player must complete tasks before time runs out and uncover the dark history of the library.

Engineered the Monster AI to conduct patrol routes and listen for the player’s footsteps. The Monster can listen in and
hear the player’s mic input.

Used Unreal Engine 5, to develop the monster’s AI in behavior trees. Creating an intelligent monster that hears the player’s mic input and actions.

Designed the spawner for the Monster AI. The Monster only spawns once the player has reached a certain completion threshold.

Managed a jump scare manager containing the logic for random recurring jump scares and the persistent level jump scares.

Self Project

Project SV: Dracula’s Castle Moonlight Palace is a souls-like role playing game where the objective of the player is to defeat enemies to level up and battle bosses to progress to the next area.

Designed the map layout, built the level from grey-box to polish. Adding an interconnected world level akin to a souls-like.

Built extensively on lighting, building post processing, and capturing a fantasy-like setting without a drop in performance.

Referenced classic Castlevania title Aria of Sorrow with similar architecture and bringing a side scroller metroidvania level
to 3D.

Academic Experience

Last Dawn is a first person shooter survival horror game in where the objective of the player is to pickup weapons, scavenge for ammo, and defeat enemies to get to the next level.

Engineered combat mechanics, and created player mechanics.

Used Unreal Engine 5, to grey-box map layouts, developed player weapons, and used Confluence and Jira for GDD Documentation.

Reviewed playtesting feedback, corrected lighting and shading, and finalized all balancing for the levels.

Collaborated with a team of artists using Trello to design stunning 3D models for Last Dawn. Resulting in clear art direction.
